• U can use any phone that uses a standard phone jack connection.

• Yes, I have two Ooma phones and they work great. Just Bluetooth hand set to Ooma box and let unit update and you are ready to go. You can use Panasonic or other brand phone but the Ooma handset eliminates phone cord being plugged into Ooma box. It's all your preference.
