The product itself in very nice. Seems of good quality and works as it should. But, the delivery service, FEDEX, left my package outside in the rain. They didn’t even put it in a plastic bag as they did in the past. Also, instead of opening the gate and bringing the package to the house, they simply dropped the package over the 5’ gate. Sure hope Best Buy decides to complain to them or consider a different delivery service.

Love OOma phone. Upgraded to this one, as it was damaged (fried) due to an electrical problem. I love the fact that you can turn the ringer off and not listen to anonymous calls. If someone leaves a message, it will show on the unit. I also find that the Ooma system is very reasonable (monthly cost) compared to other companies.

I’ve actually had Ooma for 10-12 years. My original system has worked great, but it got damaged during a recent move so I immediately went out and purchased a new system. I like this system better since it’s all wireless which makes placement much more flexible. Set up was simple. Ooma did require that I set up a new account, but my old phone number was ported over to the new account within 24 hours. If you’re trying to cut costs but still need a home phone.. Ooma is a great option.

Easy to use, easy to set up, excellent price. I haven't figured out how the contacts will sync with social profiles, but I'm sure it will be another cool feature I stumble upon as I've done with the Ooma back-office and App for iPhone.

    $5 a month phone bill-can't go wrong

I bought this over a year ago. My phone bill is $5 a month. The service is clear and it has voice mail. This phone came in handy when my cellphone screen broke and turned black. I was able to call my cellular phone customer service for help. I had a issue with it a few months ago, OOMA Customer service sent me a new wifi box and it connected again within 20 minutes . Based on what landlines cost today, this is better than $50-$60 for a emergency phone.

We decided we were tired of the local phone/internet carrier. We got Starlink and researched to find these Ooma phones were recommended to break free completely. You only have to pay the phone taxes! So much cheaper, easy installation, and easy to use.

Decent service provided by a shady company.

I'll keep this short: Ooma hardware serves its purpose... Ooma as a company is terrible. Pros: 1.) Convenient way to add a VoIP phone line without paying absurd money to the phone company. 2.) Setup was pretty easy with lots of local number selections available. Cons: 1.) Extremely shady company. I purchased the Telo Air 2 bundle and liked the functionality so I decided to upgrade to Premier service. The offer was for $99 for the year and a free HD3 handset in white. Just had to pay $9 for the shipping. When I placed the order, $129.53 was charged to my card and no confirmation email was sent. When I called for an adjustment, they claimed they couldn't help me without a screen shot of my original order. Fortunately, I don't trust companies and took a screen shot of my cart showing the offer. I tried to send it to them but their email support doesn't seem to accept jpg files! Because they can't receive proof of their own promotion, they won't adjust the charge. So now I get to do a charge back on my credit card. 2.) Absolutely atrocious customer service. Live chat is rude and only tries to get you to call in to their support phone line. Phone support gives you nothing but excuses about how they can't help you. 3.) Garbage Guarantee. They offer a "30-day money back guarantee" but then they refuse to honor it. They said the guarantee is only on hardware (which was free) and not the premium service. Unbelievably bad support! This thing is being returned.

This phone served its purpose for the few months it was needed. My taxes only ended up being $5.99/month. Some of the calls echoed and I had to reset the entire unit a few times in order to make & receive calls. I also received a couple spam calls for me personally same day I activated, which was annoying.

In an increasingly interconnected world, having a reliable home phone system is essential. Recently, I had the opportunity to explore and use OMMA, an online phone system designed for homes, and I must say it has left a very positive impression on me. OMMA stands out for its simplicity and efficiency. The installation is straightforward, even for those with limited technical experience. Following a few simple steps, I was able to get it up and running in a matter of minutes. This ease extends to its daily use as well. The intuitive and user-friendly interface makes dialing, receiving calls, and managing additional features an easy task to master. One of the most notable aspects of OMMA is its affordability. In a market where services can be costly, OMMA provides an affordable solution without compromising quality. The price-to-features ratio is truly impressive, making it a viable option for those seeking a budget-friendly and quality home phone system. OMMA's reliability also deserves mention. During my usage experience, I did not encounter significant connectivity issues or service interruptions. Call clarity remained consistent and satisfactory, reflecting OMMA's commitment to delivering reliable service. In summary, OMMA is a home online phone solution that deserves consideration. Its ease of installation and use, combined with an affordable price, make it an attractive option for any household looking for a reliable and accessible phone system. OMMA proves that quality doesn't have to be sacrificed for price and simplicity.

I finally decided to transfer the landline we've had for more than 25 years. We have cell phones with different numbers, but I wanted to keep our old landline number both for nostalgia and to reduce spam calls to our cell phones. (We give out our home phone to businesses, when we sign up for things, etc.) I transferred our home phone number to Google Voice and bought signed up for Ooma because I wanted 911 service. I could have just bought the Ooma telo and used our existing wireless phones, but decided to go ahead and get the Ooma handsets too. I'm really glad I did. We have the two Ooma handsets along with one old wireless phone hooked up to our Ooma Telo. You probably don't care about all that, you just want to know if it works --- and the answer is yes! I've been very happy. It was relatively easy to set up and now works just like our old landline did. I can check Ooma voicemail on the Telo, on the Ooma handsets, on my computer or on my cell phone. I also get a text message on my cell phone when we have a voicemail. I can also easily block spam numbers. The best part is we are paying about $7/month for Ooma versus $65/month for the landline. My only complaint isn't anything that's inherently wrong with Ooma, but rather only an issue if you choose to use a Google Voice number with Ooma. When you set up GV with Ooma, you actually end up with two phone numbers: the original Ooma phone number you receive when setting up the system and your GV number. You can use both numbers if you want, but I choose only to give out the GV number. So, nobody I know or want to talk to ever call me on the Ooma number. However, and here's the issue, that number is still active, so spammers call that number. That means I get spam numbers to both my Ooma number and to my GV number. With that said, if you're transferring a landline, you could transfer it straight to Ooma and not use GV if you want. That would eliminate the problem of two numbers and additional spam calls. Anyway, Ooma has been working great. It was easy to set up and I'm saving about $55/month.

This system was so simple to set up. I was able to keep my home phone number and Ooma ported it over to their system. I can go to my online account and program the phones, add my contacts with their picture which is really a nice feature because small print is hard for us to read. Voice is crystal clear. For my area I pay $6.66 a month. That is for 911 service and taxes. I'm saving over $100.00 month! I ordered this online and Best Buy had it shipped to me the next day! Excellent service! I highly recommend.

Love it! easy to connect to my WI-FI, entered my zip code, and found the amount of taxes and 911 fees I have to pay each month. With the way inflation is going it is almost like getting it for free. when one of the handsets looses it's charge, I have to pull and reinstall the batteries to get it to charge again.

Ooma is probably the best VOIP phone service. The very reasonably priced package includes the base unit and handsets that take up very little real estate and are easy to set up. Call quality is great. I'm using the wireless option to connect the handsets and chose not to bother using my old telephones. I chose Ooma to replace my old reliable copper wire phone lines because I got fed up with my service provider raising prices once or twice a year, pushing $100 a month; to add insult to injury, my service provider was pushing their VOIP service for $46 a month plus cost of equipment. With Ooma I pay next to nothing. The only downside is if I lose power, I lose internet service and telephone, making me dependent on cell service. I've been using Ooma for a month now and and very pleased.
