We bought this as a replacement for a landline. The telephone service is inexpensive and has far more features than POTS. These include ability to make and receive calls from a smartphone, robust spam blocking, and first rate customer service. You can make a call on an instant "second line" without paying for another line. While the Telo base station connects to wi-fi, the phones connect to the Telo using Bluetooth. We have three floors in our house. I place the Telo on the middle floor and the range is good enough. I have called Ooma for setup and the support is wonderful.

I would give the base usit a 5 star review but the handsets in this set bring it down. The handsets dont hold much of a charge and die fairly quickly. I would have just bought the base station and avoided the spare handsets. It was easy to set up and have my landline ported over. Love the ability to have it also call my cell when a call comes in. I would just buy a multi handset wireless phone system and avoid these.

I had the Ooma - Telo phone for over7 years. One of the purchase I have made. My phone bill is around $4 dollar per month. Ooma - Telo Air 2 is great. Works great and great deal with 2 cordless handset. The old unis sill works so I gave it to my siste to replace her optimum phone line,

Let me say I have decent internet that when tested for voip online service exceeds requirements vastly however so far talk quality has been much less than acceptable. I can live with the cell phone sound of voices but the drop outs during speaking is not acceptable. Good luck trying to read off a prescription number to order a refill. It may be due to the wifi type internet service I have but I thought it would work considering it claims to. I am past the lousy 14 day Bestbuy return period so I may be stuck with this system but I do not have to like it. If you have hardwired internet service to your home this might work for you and then you too can sound like a telephone sales agent.

We have a bad internet service and this still shines the value is not bad either 2 handsets and the main unit. We pay for the premium service and we pay about 16 dollars so a month but you get 2 lines and a ton of spam rejection too. It's worth it if we didn't pay for the premium would only cost around 5 dollars a month that's with 911. You can get the Google voice for free but you still have to pay like 9.99 a month for 911 so ooma is a good value.

I have been using Ooma for several months now. I ported my home to ooma with no problems. Call clarity is good and the price can't be beat. My home phone was very expensive around 38.00 a month for local calling only. My ooma bill is 5.36 a month. THis is for the basic service. If I wanted to upgrade to the premium service it would be an additional 10.00 a month.

This works great for us. We’re on Starlink internet and have no issues making/receiving calls. For my county, it’s around $6/mo to use plus 10 more when I do the premium service which I actually like. Fave premium features are: it notifies me if someone at home dials 911. And when calls come in and I’m not home, it rings my cell so I can still get calls when I’m out. Overall great product. No regrets.
