A:AnswerYou could, Ooma does have for a fee a cellular back up system, which I would recommend in the event the internet goes down your system is still being monitored.
FYI I never used it before but Ooma does have their own home security as well
A:AnswerHello,
Thank you for your inquiry. This particular Ooma base model does not have wireless capabilities. Please see the link below for our wireless model. However, please note a mobile hotspot may not be ideal for call quality. The Ooma Telo does require 1 dedicated Mbps in order for the service to work optimally.

A:AnswerYour printer is either hard wired to your computer, or it's wireless. But the ooma doesn't have anything to do with the printer. Now to us it with a fax machine, you would need a splitter coming from your ooma. One for your phone and one to your fax.

A:AnswerYes. It works just like a regular VOIP telephone. If you have AT&T, that is how their are phones are set up, via modem. This operates like any landline without the ridiculous costs
A:AnswerMagic Jack requires a computer to run or be running in order for it to work. Where as Ooma is it's own computer an telco device all in one. that is why I prefer Ooma. Yes you can take it out of the country just make sure that you have the proper power adapters for it to work.
