How does it work null

It is low cost satellite TV. They save money by not having higher cost channels, like the sports ones, and by installing an antenna on the dish pole, to get the free local network channels. They all show up in the same channel guide. You do need a receiver for each TV. (unless you don't mind seeing the same channel in the other room, without ability to change channels)
