“I have a Mac which is about 8 yrs old. Most afternoons around 4PM it will disconnect from the internet and remain off line for at least several hours. My phones and I-pad work perfectly on wi-fi during this time. Fixable?”

Geek Squad can certainly take a look at it! Since it is unable to reliably connect to the internet, it might be a good idea to bring it into a store instead of trying for a remote repair.
