I took mine back and was given gift cards for all the cords and cases i purchased.

Yes all mobile phone stores are allowing u to return all your 
Cases and Accessories to the stores for a full refund....

You were supposed to be able to get a new case for your new phone ( if you chose a different one) in exchange for your old one. That was a part of the deal.

I purchased the same phone and in the message from Samsung and Verizon they both stated that wherever you purchased your phone and accessories from they should refund you whatever you purchased for wherever you purchased it from
