I cut out the Otter case protector and applied the laminated glass shield, otherwise it would have been too chunky. And the sensitivity would have been frustrating.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you mean you want to know if it works with a separate screen protector, it's not necessary. The case covers the screen with plastic, but doesn't hurt the 3D-Touch option or any other than I can see, when you use it. I hope this helps.

It will have occasional small issues and there will be a spot or some areas where the two screen protectors will have a clear spot. My wife had a screen protector on before buying and installing the Otterbox it functions just fine.
