Works just fine with the touch pad. You do have to press a little harder with it. However $50.00 and a harder press on the screen is a lot less of a hassle and the $300.00 to replace a screen.

It typically requires a little firmer touches or touch for a longer period of time. For instance, you cant text as fast as you can without the case as it just doesn't register from the light touches that typically occur with fast movement.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The reason it has problems with the touch aspect is because the screen protector does not fit flush over the screen. It is several millimiters off the screen so you really have to get used to pushing harder or cut off the screen protector part and put on one that fits flush to the screen. It is truly annoying compared to a regular screen protector that you put on it.

I do not have otter box and I noticed I do need to push harder but not to much harder. Swyping feature has no problem though, which I find strange. Lol
