I originally bought this for my Samsung S7 Edge. Since you can't buy a good screen protector for the edge, this seemed like a good option. Despite drops for both me and my son, both of our OtterBoxes have kept our phones safe! Phone is no longer slippery and the case is rubbery with some flexibility so feels good in your hand. One downside... There seems to be a gap on the back, like an air pocket that stops it from sitting flush with the back of my phone. Since my son (college student) tends to keep his phone in his pocket, it has caused it to pull away a bit around the space for the camera, and he'd only had it for 6 months. This does not seem to interfere with anything, but thought it was worth mentioning. Needless to say, we bought back up cases before they don't sell them for our phones. We have them instead of insurance and they more than do their job. I have seen reviews regarding difficulty with screen sensitivity because of the cover, but neither my son or I notice that! Once you use it, you adjust and it is fine! Plan on having this phone for years and feel this case with keep it safe!

The custom fit is extremely nice and tight. All ports are secured. The protection level offered is top notch. The clear plastic screen protector can not be beaten. Highly recommend it.

I like the SGS7 Edge Otterbox because it protects my phone and I don't have to put it in my pocket anymore.

dropped phone with outter box defender case on it & phone is cracked. Case is no good. suppose to protect box but didn't. Would not buy again nor recommend

Great case. Protects phone well. Only complaint is phone's touch screen sensitivity is diminished somewhat do to built in screen protector. But, is ok trade off when you think about the protection you are getting from the case.

This case offers great phone protection for the rounded screen. I have dropped my s7 edge a few times and it's still in like new condition. I love the case. It has a textured back to it so it doesn't slip out of your hands. My only complaint is the screen cover. This case has a built in protective cover. It is thick and is not very touch sensitive to the screen. You have to push harder to get anything to work. It is frustrating at times. I've taken the case off my phone and the phone is great that way but once the cover is on and the thick screen protector is on it is harder to use. It does do a great job protecting your phone and for that I'd give it 5 stars but I deducted one because of the screen protector.

I bought this case to replace a heavily used previous Otterbox Defender. The case will take a beating, no doubt. The case kept the phone in pristine condition, it looks brand spanking new. The most damage to it was on the screen protector. This case is old enough to be worth buying a whole new one. it helps people with larger hands hold the phone and fit snug into larger pockets.

The best buy clerk had to show me how to remove the rubber case. It fit so well I was afraid that I would damage it. Once she showed me I was pleased how quickly she put my phone in the case. And yes I dropped it once and to my surprise it completely protected my phone.

The case and holder do what they are intended to do, protect and provide a convenient way to carry the phone. I'm using mine on the 7 edge and i'm able to swipe and get the edge screen feature to swipe onto the screen easily. I did read reviews saying that this not easy to do, personally I don't have any problems doing so . I will say that typing near the curved edge of the screen takes a bit more pressure than in the middle, but its easy to get used to, and to me worth the slight bit of extra effort to do so, personally i'd rather have the protection than take a chance breaking or dropping the phone.

While my phone has been in this case, I've never had a crack, scratch, or any other damage to it. It also isn't too bulky, I like to have my phone looking cool and sleek and it barely even takes away from that. Recommend to everyone!

I absolutely love the otter box I swear by it. I have been buying otterboxes ever since I've been buying nicer phones. My only con with this particular 1 is the tough sensitivity of the protective screen. What I mean by that is when I go to type or press an icon it doesn't register that I presses anything. I have to push down hard on the screen sometimes to get it to register at times. I haven't figured out how to change this yet.

Bought a different otterbox and didn't feel like my phone was adequately protected so I returned it and ordered this online. Much better! My phone is secure, not bulky, and not nearly as fragile. The Edge is such a great investment that I think this case is necessary for its protection. Only reason I'm taking a star off is because the screen protector seems to cause a time delay on the touch screen features. Little annoying but small price to pay.

I have several cases for my S7 Edge I get cases instead of insurance. I was hesitant to buy an Otterbox Defender only because of other reviews indicating that the case was poorly made, or reduced screen sensitivity. But I hage had defenders for many years on many phones and had to give it a try. It didn't hurt that it caught my attention on a day that they were half off (I wasn't even looking for a case that day). My verdict? Very g-d case offering traditional defender protection.I have dropped my phone a few times into concrete, getting out of my truck, and there isn't even a scuff in the case. Does it lessen touchscreen sensitivity? Yes. A little. But not so much that it interferes with my use of the phone at all. I can still charge wirekessly. I can hear and be heard just as before. I don't use the belt holster but it is made to typical Otterbox high standards Really, I cn't complain about the case. It is a good buy for those who have extra reason to protect their phones.

Every time I get a new phone I purchase the Otterbox Defender case. It is great at protecting my phone. It is easy to put on and remove it if necessary.

Used the Otterbox on other phones. They fit well. They work well. Only complaint with this model is that the screen protector is so hard that you have to push harder on it to register a touch on the phone screen. In the long run, that is probably better than a thinner protector that might not provide as good of protection.
