does this interface work with a 2001 grandprix. The one I purchased. Swch-1 doesn't seem to work. Wondering what to do with little factory plug attached to harness. Installing a Kenwood kc-565u with a 4000-1 adapter that adapter doesn't include the little plug on exciting factory harness for factory radio/ cd player. Also do you have to hard wire and cut off factory wire plug?
