• "Cyclonic" Technology is confined to one model only. All others have the inverter addition. In my opinion the cyclonic technology doesn't do that much more than the inverter technology. Incidentally, Panasonic is the ONLY company that has the inverter technology.

• Cyclonic Separation is a technology used in some vacuum cleaners. "Cyclonic separation is a method of removing particulates from an air, gas or liquid stream, without the use of filters, through vortex separation."
