yes. Works perfectly with the internet, and you can use it as a monitor with the Smart technology. Just add a wireless keyboard for convenience.

Not in my case. I have a Samsung Tab 3 and a 1 Toshiba p55A- 5312 laptop, both about a year old. I assume you are talking about the mirroring mode app. Try as I might it would not recognize my devices so that I could mirror the device screen to the TV. I called Panasonic and was told it only works wirelessly with android devices and my Tab 3 wasn't one of them. When I asked what devices were compatible, I was told they did not have a list. I would need a dongle to get it to work. Added expense I do not wish to pay.

Yes.. if your laptop is relatively new. You also have the option of connecting w HDMI cables.
