Yes, it can be used dry or with shaving cream. I have had good success with Aveno shaving cream or the Target brand.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Aveno shaving cream was mentioned and that works very well with this shaver. The Target house brand is also excellent and costs less. It's usually available from Target's web site and they will ship to your home. I've not seen it in their stores.

Treat yourself to wet lather shaves for at least three weeks and notice the difference.
