The unit must be sitting on a hard surface in order to open. There is a safety release button on the bottom that must be pressed in before the button on the back can be pressed. You might have to press down gently on the unit while pressing the button on the back.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Don’t force it… I recommend you return it since the inside pins are delicate and might break… it happened to us and had to use the Geek squad warrantee to replace the product
