Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. How did you get clean HDMI? I cant get rid of the recording mode in the top left had of the LCD and conversely shows on my Zoom video.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I currently use the camera for Zoom and have tested it with OBS. I have a Utap capture card and ithe connect is a little finicky. I have to unplug the capture card from the computer for about 10 seconds and reconnect because it causes Zoom to freeze. Also, my setup won't let me record to the computer in 4k. 1080p works fine. I've had it running for 3 hours without a problem. Overall, it will work for live streaming but your other hardware may be a factor
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just finished a 2 hour concert with this camera on a jib crane, connected to vMix via SDI to HDMI adapters and a SDI PCIe capture card from Blackmagic. . Prior to that, I've been using it with Elgato HD60S and Camlink 4k USB capture cards. It works perfectly as a streaming video camera (for hours and hours) but it cannot record to the SD card or transmit it's wifi functions while streaming out of it's HDMI output port. I find that it's optical image stabilization, manual controls and auto focus abilities give consistent and pleasing results, enough for me to look past it's short comings . This is used with a mix of GH2 and GH3 camera's and it performs as good or better...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This camcorder is a great edition to a low cost streaming package. The camcorder is likely compatible with all streaming platforms. I have only worked with Vmix and Zoom so it is likely that it will work with OBS. Although it does have clean HDMI you will need a capture card. With respect to recording limit, I have not seen this occur with most camcorders. I typically have recorded more than 90 minutes with limits only by memory card size and power connection.
