QuestionDoes this phone have an audible Caller ID? ie.... *ringing* ... "call from ___" Also, when the machine picks up, can you hear it, say if you're screening your calls? It drives me crazy that my current phone does not have either of these options!!

- Answer Yes, it has audible caller id that can also be turned off. When the machine picks up, you can not hear the outgoing message, but yes, you can hear the caller when/if they talk.

- Answer My apartment is about 40. feet long, and I've never lost connection from the base. I can step out onto my balcony with no trouble. I have not tried the handsets outside the confines of my own apartment. Incidentally, I am very happy with this phone overall.
