A:AnswerYes, but you have to get into the "Answering Device" menu from your cordless phone first. Scroll to the "Remote code" screen, and enter a 3 digit code.
A:AnswerNo. They are all hooked up to the same line. But it is very convenient to have 4 of them so you can put them in different rooms & be able to answer phone quickly, or use it quickly., almost anywhere. We really enjoy ours, we have one in living room, one in kitchen, one in our bedroom & one in my craft room.
A:AnswerMy answer would be no. And if you are wanting phones that announce caller - these are a joke. Just like the AT&T ones I just had and thought I would try Panasonic - well what a surprise - the same person is telling you who is calling. Don't know nationality, but can hardly read what is there and cannot pronounce simple words. I REALLY HATE THESE AND THE AT&5 PHONES I HAD BEFORE GETTING THESE PANASONIC ONES. Don't know why they would hire someone that could not speak English very well.
