The model shown in the picture is one I just bought. The phones and charger stands are white and rose gold as shown, but the cords are gray/silver gray, and the electrical plug is black. I can't compare the sound quality as I've never owned another Panasonic product, but in general I think the sound is quite good and sufficiently adjustable to the individual.
