You will need to go through a registration process.
1. On the Handset: Press [ MENU # 1 3 0 ].
2. On the Base Unit: Press and hold [ LOCATOR ] for about 5 seconds. If all registered handsets start ringing, press the [ LOCATOR ] button to stop, then repeat this step.
3. This step must be completed within 90 seconds. On the Handset: Press [OK], then wait until a long beep sounds. -M

To de-activate the MUTE function, press the button below the word MUTE again and the word MUTE will stop flashing on the LCD screen on the handset. -C
