• We bought this for my Mother-in-law as a gift because she lives alone. I believe they are rechargeable AA Batteries but do not recall for sure. The handsets seem to last all day after charging at night. She is a fairly heavy phone user.

• The batteries are AAA (R03) size for each handset. The recommended part number for the batteries is HHR-4DPA. The battery life is continuous use is approx. 10 hours.
