• I had difficulty figuring this out. Rather than set volume from the base unit, set the volume using the handheld device instead. Use Menu, Settings, and scroll until you see ringer settings. There are multiple volume levels, including turning the ringer off (particularly useful if you are a speaker on a video Zoom-type call).
