“Are you able to hear the caller’s message as they’re leaving their message on the answering machine? As in screening? I need to be able to call home and alert parent by use of answering machine by leaving a message in real time.”

Hello Nic! The KX-TGF882B phone system has the call screening option available. The default setting is On, so if you leave a message it will be played out loud in real time. Hope this helps! - S
