  • QuestionI have model KX-TGD863 connected to Magic jack with a netgear router an night hawk mesh system, I’m getting a lot of static during phone calls, is a inline filter needed?

    Asked by Static.

    • Answer Hello. As the phone system was not tested for this type of usage, only with a landline connection, we encourage you to check directly with the telephone service provider for information. Please note that if you encounter issues with the sound or related to Caller ID services when using VoIP, the phone may require a DSL/ADSL filter to be installed on the line by your telephone service provider. -C

This unit has the Call block feature and it is possible to block unwanted callers if you press the CALL BLOCK button when an incoming call is being received, when an incoming call is being recorded by the answering system and when talking on an outside call. Once a phone number has been added to the call block list, the unit will block calls from that phone number in the future. -C

  • QuestionCan I conference call with two other individuals in two other separate locations - how do I add and merge those calls? Thank you.

    Asked by Kathy.

    • Answer This scenario requires to to have Call Waiting. Dial the first party. After they answer, ask them politely to hold. Press the Flash button. Dial the second party. Pressing the Flash button a second time will merge the two calls. Press the Flash button a third time will disconnect the second party. To my knowledge, you cannot merge two inbound calls, only an inbound+outbound or outbound+outbound.
