• Hello there! Thank you for your question. The KX-TGF882 includes one corded base unit and two cordless handsets. Each cordless handset comes with its own charger, which connects directly to a wall outlet. These chargers are designed solely for charging and do not function as base units. All cordless handsets communicate wirelessly with the single main base unit. Please note that you do not need to purchase an additional base unit to use the second handset. The base unit supports up to 6 cordless handsets connected to the same base unit. If you wish to expand your system, you can add more handsets, such as the compatible KX-TGFA88 model.
