“I want to be able to lay the base flat on my nightstand with phone charging inside of it laying down also. Would it have to be standing up or could the phone be lying flat in it. Used to old style Panasonic so want something as similar as I can find!”

Hello! Our current phone systems are designed to be placed vertically on a flat surface such as a nightstand, a table or a countertop. We do not recommend laying the base unit or the charger down as it may affect the charging of the handsets if the charging ports are not aligned properly. We hope this information will be useful! - S
