What kind of batteries does it take? null

These phones require two Triple A (AAA) rechargeable Ni-MH batteries.

The batteries are rechargable AAA (Ni-MH, 1.2V, 750mAh, rechargable). This is the way to go! I replaced a Uniden system which uses custom battery packs which are much more expensive and don't give better performance. Important note: You shouldn't put regular AAA batteries in these phones if you are using the provided charging cradle as that may cause a fire.

Hi! The part number for the batteries is HHR-4DPA. However, any other AAA, Ni-MH rechargeable batteries with a maximum capacity of 700mAh will work. -G
