• Uses only rechargeable Ni-MH batteries AAA (R03) size. DO NOT use alkaline/manganese/Ni-CD batteries.

• They come with proprietary batteries; however, I see no reason (other than quality) why you could not replace them with rechargeable batteries with the same specifications.
