the specs DO say 3000 gigs which would be ridiculous, it's a misprint they need to fix.

I’m not sure where you saw “3000 gigabytes”, but this is the description I found: “Store up to 3,000 items in the phonebook or add important numbers into the 9-speed dial settings.” You can save names and numbers to the memory as well as program 9 contacts for speed dialing.

This is directed at the Panasonic team who answered the question; your "answer" appears to be shady as if you decided to say 3000 numbers just to avoid getting the proper reply for the customer.

We're searching for new phones and after reading this, I feel Panasonic is NOT where we will spend our money. It's obvious the poster above needs help and my opinion is that he got nothing from the company who was glad to take his money.
