“How long do the batteries last? My present base unit is powered by a wall plug and my present phones are powered by a square LI battery. They never needed replacing.”

The base unit required to be plugged in. The handsets use rechargeable batteries HHR-4DPA. We recommend replacing them once a year, however they can last longer, depending on the usage. -M
