• Hello! This is the call screening feature and while a caller is leaving a message, you can listen to the call through the unit’s speaker. To adjust the speaker volume, you need to press + or - repeatedly on the base unit or the arrow up or down on the handsets, however you will need to do this for every unit. Hope this helps! -C
