- Answer Do any disc players do this? Every TV from the past several years has several built-in 'zoom' functions. So, use those. I see no such options in the player's manual.

- Answer No DVD players sold by Best Buy are "region free"... for a DVD player to be region free, it must undergo a tech change by a third party. Amazon does sell region free DVD players...but, note that they have been manipulated by someone other than the manufacturer.
