At the moment, there are no plans for a multi disk version. However, this player does have a USB port. I currently have a 2 Tb external SSD drive connected, with nearly 100 movies on the drive, most 30 minutes, some 60 minutes and some 2 hours. They all play great. Most are 1920 x 1080 format, some are 3840 x 2160 format. On my 70" 4K UHD HDR TV, they all look GREAT.
