Panasonic - DP-UB420 I can confirm does play 4K discs.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.My Panasonic DP-UB420P-K plays 4K discs beautifully since I purchased it about a month ago. You must be connected to a 4K Television with an hdmi cable that supports hdcp2.2, 4K/60p (4:4:4), and Hdr. I bought my cable through Amazon but Best Buy sells them also. You probably only need the 3 foot length. If you are connected correctly playback of 4K discs is automatic and you do not need to change any settings in the player.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It runs 4k disc but you should check the region . 1 is US . if your 4k disc is from other country it will not run unless your unit is multi region. So my advise buy 4k disc only in the US.
