Hi Lucy! This is only a player. We currently do not have any recorders available. -A

I believe this is strictly a player. In order for it to record it has to be linked up and also listed as a CD/R which it is not.

No it does not , this only plays Dvd/blu ray/ 4K …and also streams with the help of app like Netflix This won’t record shows/movies
