Do I need to program this to my TV or just hook it up? null

I just unhooked my old blu ray player and connected the new one with the same HDMI cord I was already using. I know there is more I can do, such as with the second HDMI, but so far I haven't. If you are just looking to watch a movie that's all you should have to do.

I just hooked it up to the same hdmi I used with the old player.

Just like the other responder said- I literally plugged in a 4k HDMI cable from the player to my TV.
And yes there are other things you can do to set it up- like choosing to have a separate audio output, connecting to WiFi, etc.
