Yes, if you have surround speakers connected to a receiver. The receiver will manage the surround effects. Connect the player via HDMI cable to the receiver. HDMI cable should be rated for 4k @ 60 fps, 18gps, chroma 4:4:4 for optimal performance. However, any HDMI will pass the surround sound signal to your receiver.
