Ok, so I think I had similar issues with my audio for a bit, I mean I’m just using a sound bar/subwoofer combo where unless it was a 4k blu ray that had Dolby Atmos listed as a feature it would display PCM on my sound bar and the volume would have to be cranked up twice as high and the quality wasn’t great and I accessed the advanced audio controls on my Hisense TV and there’s a control called Digital Audio Out and I switched it from Auto to “pass through” and it fixed everything. It all sounds great now. Hope that helps.

I figured it out myself, im very surprised Panasonic team didnt know this. I had to go into the audio settings on the player and set it to Bitstream
