Yes definitely. The only difference between the switch and the switch lite is that you cannot play the switch lite on the TV. They use the same cartridges. Certain games like Mario party, just dance, 1 2 switch will have problems on the switch lite though just because you are required to have disconnected joycons which the switch lite doesn't have. You can get around that with most of the games but you'd need to buy a separate set of joycons and prop the switch lite up to use as just a screen. Basically on the back of the box, check to see if it's playable in handheld more and you won't need any extra pieces to be able to play that game. Hope that helped and wasn't too confusing.
