“I just had a Samsung Q60B TV installed by the Geek squad. The remote does not have lighting. Will this remote to the job with TV, DirecTV, Sound Bar etc. How difficult is it to program.”

It will work just fine for all of that. I have a Samsung 70 inch smart TV, and it controlled the TV instantly. You can add the other stuff, DTV, soundbar, etc., by following the directions, which are included. Also, the web site will guide you through it, too. The backlighting is a big deal, much more so than I thought it would be. If your is not lighting, exchange it.
