Yes. You can use this like any ordinary bulb plus have the option to control wirelessly with amazon echo, google home or apple.

Please try again later.Yes, as long as power is supplied to the light fixture with either wall switch in “on” position at all times, and the hub is plugged into an outlet that has constant power. If you happen to turn off one of the wall switches, of course it wont function like any other bulb, but wont hurt anything - just turn the switch back on. Using the Hue app on your phone, you can turn it on and off, and select/adjust brightness like a dimmer switch. There are 3 preset levels, and can also set up routines such as time, arrive/away from home, and many others.
