Yes, you can control each individual light.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can. You can turn any individual light on or off because each light has a name and a unique address. There is no limit to how many lights you can have (as long as you don't exceed the current limits of your breaker) and it does not matter what circuit they are on. You use an app for controlling the hue hub. The hub is called a bridge, and when you screw a new hue light into a lamp somewhere and turn it on, you will see the light appear on the app. You can then rename the light to anything you want like "living room right side lamp" or "hallway 1" or whatever you want. You can also group lights together and turn them on or off as a group as well. I have a group named stairway, another named living room, and one labeled front door lights. They are programmed to turn on and off at different times of the day. I also program individual lights within a group to turn on and off at different times to make it appear that someone is home when I am away. I also use a feature called GeoFencing which makes lights turn on whenever my phone is within a programmed proximity. I have mine set so that my front door lights turn on automatically when I am within a mile of my house. This requires your phone app to use the location service so it knows where you are. BTW - There is a Windows 10 app called Huetro that lets you control the lights from a PC or Xbox or Windows Phone too.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes the bulbs can be set up individually, you can create a scene to control multiple bulbs at once or select individual bulbs. If I'm not mistaken the bridge will allow for up to 50 bulbs.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.That should be possible. As long as the lights are setup with different names you should be able to control them all separately. You can control up to 50 lights on one Hue hub.
