I just set up a pair of these bulbs with my new Echo Plus (no separate bridge) and I have full control of these bulbs (on, off, dim etc.). I set them up in two living room lamps as "Living Room Light 1" and "Living Room Light 2". I then set up a group called "Living Room Lights" and put both lights in the group. All of the set up was done directly in the Alexa App on my iPhone. Now I can control each light individually ("Alexa, turn on Living Room Light 1") or as a group ("Alexa, dim the Living Room Lights to 50%") in which case both will respond at the same time. I have found the ability to dim seems to work from 12% to 100% which is fine for my needs (as well as on & off). Everything works exactly as expected and the set up was very easy.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine turns on & off plus will dim.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, the echo plus will do the same as if you had a separate bridge. As a matter of fact I was told by one of best buys employees that you can have a maximum of 6 smart bulbs connected to the echo plus. Then thats when I would need a separate bridge for the other smart bulbs. So far I have two smart bulbs and a echo dot attached to my echo plus.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The echo plus will control these bulbs one or a group and dim them the same way, by voice or by the app.. without Philips hub.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. Echo plus can fully operate the bulb. An echo dot can as well if you have a plus in the home.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can turn it on off and dim the lights you can also control each light individually or in groups with Echo Plus as long as it as it set up in the app that way
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The echo plus will control on and off as well as brightness with voice on this bulb. Other hue bulbs have colors as well but I don't know if echo plus will handle colors but I suspect it will.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I also use Echo devices and you can ask Alexa to dim or brighten the light using percentages. Example; Alexa dim the living room lamp 50%. Works great.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can dim and turn on and off with an echo plus
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had to buy the bridge, as I have an Echo Show. My parents have the Echo Plus and they are able to adjust the brightness through Alexa.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
