I don't think Phillips makes a brighter bulb YET but you could purchase a LIFX bulb (~75W) which does NOT require a Hub.

I'm not sure but I shared your same concerns. However this bulb is very bright and you can adjust it from the app or Alexa. I usually have it less than 100% during the day since it is so bright. I hope this helps.

if you are looking for brighter take a look at the temp change bulbs where you can get the "daylight effect" and makes the light appear brighter.

If your using Alexa with your hue bridge you could always use a smart outlet like by TP link or a smart light switch by TP link them use any bulb you want. That's what I did for some of my rooms
