Does this work with Philips Hue Play? null

Yes but it's not cheap. You have to purchase the light strip plus 80" (not the 40" extension) a hue sync box ($225) plus additional lights or light strips that you want to sync with the music. I Just finished my setup finally and I'm in it at just under $1000. It's very cool, though if I knew how insanely expensive the end result was going to be, I would have spent those dollars elsewhere.
