Are these bulbs ok for outdoor use uncovered null

They’re designed for indoor use. It would be best to use outdoor specific bulbs.

Yes, I’ve been using these outside for my garage for 6+ years now. They work great (though I imagine life is shortened from extreme cold, they are all still ticking).

I would not try to use them this way. They are listed for indoor use. Philips has some outdoor rated Hue flood lights and they work great. They are not color though.
