“If we just need the outdoor motion light which will be mounted above the garage door do we still need the bridge? What would be it's function? It will be near a camera connected to Wifi.”

• from what we gather, the bridge allows you to control the different function of the led lights. It gets hooked to you modem, we have it plugged in to the wifi extender, and can use the cell phone to control the lights
