Does this work with the echo plus? null

Yes. You need the actual lightstrip plus base first in order for it to work

Yes I have my connected to the echo plus but you still need to purchase the Hue bridge to complete the connection.

It does work with any smart device but remember this is just an extender to the actual light strip. You cannot buy this alone and expect to be able to use it.
