Yes and no. They do bend but you should buy a connector (sold on amazon) for an L shaped cord to connect 2 light strips together. While it does flex it would leave a "bump" in the corner if you get what I'm saying.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The strips are very flexible. They should be fine on an L-shaped desk

I don't forsee any problem(s) that you will have by installing these on your L shaped desk. Your only going to be turning the strips slightly when you come to the "L" in the desk, which as long as you don't crease it totally in half (I think they say in the manual no more than 90 degrees) which you cannot do in half anyway because of the thickness of them,, you will be fine. I had a new kitchen installed and needed light for my counter tops and I went ahead and purchaed the lightstrips along with a Echo Alexa. I just installed the 5 sets under my kitchen cabinets which had a lot of break points (over microwave, window and my "L" corner) and had no big problem in doing so. I would suggest to reinforce the strips adhesive backing though. I was not pleased with the tape all that much. At the end of installing them and when I plugged them in to turn them on my husband (who can care less about anything decorative), absolutely went overboard with the effect they gave off. I absolutely love them also! He and I are very very pleased with them and I know you will too. Can't wait to try them out with all the other great options they offer with them other than just making my kitchen brighter. I also went out and purchased 3 smaller Echo's for my bedrooms, 2 of the big round ball type lights (not sure what they are called), the bulb starter kit, extra bulbs and a sensor. Out of all of these I only hooked up 2 Echo's so far, but will have them all installed within the next 2 weeks. Let me know how you made out and your likings/dislikes of the strips lights if you decide to go with them. But again, I see no problems at all and the effects are fantastic.. Good luck. Hope I helped you some.
