• No it's not required.... but Andes makes a cooling, disinfectant and lubricant spray that I religiously use... imo it keeps the blades cooler, so less irritation, lubed so they last longer and to stay sharp longer, all while disinfecting the blades after each use.... as stated in order to "clean" the blades, only tap water is required.
